Photo 1: Recycling

The colours of the recycling bins stand out from the grayish concrete walls and cemented floor in this photo. Imitating that of foliage, “green” has become an international language in advocating environmental preservation. In today’s context, every nation is pursuing for industrial advancements and technological improvements. Mother Nature’s survival is in jeopardy, as a result of this ever-growing technological plant. Recycling is no longer a nation’s duty but a world-wide project. The three “R”s are internationally recognized as a symbol of environmental protection, whereby every man living on this globe plays an important role. While environmental preservation functions on a global scale, its contribution to the economical market is indubitable. Commercial means undertaken to convey the “green” message provides an additional source of income for small conglomerates to battle in the economical sector. C D Jordan & Son is an exemplar of a parent company which utilized environmental protection actions, such as processing industrial metals, to climb up the corporate ladder and attain global acknowledgment. Globalization creates a more organized and influential setting, whereby nations unite in solving this environmental issue.
