This photo shows 3 different brands of shoes taken in the tjc compound. Originating from different countries and brands, these 3 shoes all serve the purpose of running. The coalition of these 3 different brands display the great extent of globalisation in today's context. These shoes, manufactured in different countries and bringing along their individual backgrounds, are unified together in this photo. Had Globalization not occur and only products manufactured in Singapore are utilised, our state economy may not persist as it is now. Thanks to globalization, we were able to broaden our views and exposure to the society. 
The 3 pieces of artwork in this photo displays the evolutionary spread of arts. Art, a type of creative prodution generated by human beings, constructs a sturdy platform for development of man's intellectual mind. These artworks are epitomes of man's creativity and exemplify the linking bonds between each individual, the artistic traits inherent in all of us. Art allows man to communicate through their art pieces of inspiration and translates significant changes in our thinkings. An example includes classical artists such as Francisco Goya, who instilled ideas of revolutions among the masses through his artwork, the Death of Socrates. Globalization, spread through art, exposes the underlying power which shrinks the world. 
This is a picture of a fire extinguisher taken near the scope. We took picture of the fire extinguisher because we felt that this object is an obvious object of globalization. The fire extinguisher does not originate from Singapore; it was imported from other countries. Through globalization, the fire extinguisher has been introduced in Singapore. without this technology present, people will complain not being able to lead a comfortable life, which is why technology is globalised.

This picture is taken near the area behind the general office. fujitsu is a renowed brand selling many kinds of technological products and is widely used by the world. Many brands which produce similar merchadises like Fujitsu are all going global. People's needs for them give them the ability to go global. it goes the same for many other brands like nokia, acer etc. People need all these techonological products. I believed many people will say that they cannot sleep without air-con switched on, without washing machines helping them to lessen their household chores. This is the reason why techonology is globalized. People need them. As long as there is a demand for the certain item worldwide, then it will be easy for the item to go global.Labels: Group post
